Eagles face must win game against Washington

If there is a must win game for the Philadelphia Eagles, tomorrow is it.

Losers of three straight, the Eagles must beat Washington tomorrow afternoon. A loss all bu assures their second straight season without making it to the playoffs.

A win and they are back in the thick of things in a surprisingly even NFC.

The concern heading into the game is the lack of emotion Philadelphia has shown the past three weeks, all loses. The Eagles must come out firing on all cylinders. And that means running the ball as well as stopping the run, neither of which they have done well lately.

Washington is coming off of an emotional win over Dallas and are also in a must-win situation.

Heading into a very tough second half of the season, Philadelphia has two very winnable games versus Washington and Tennessee, which could put them at 6-4 before facing Indianapolis, Carolina, and then three straight NFC East games on the road.

But enough of looking ahead. The focus needs to be on beating the Redskins tomorrow.
